Durch Verrechnung einzelner Aufnahmen einer Belichtungsreihe lassen sich Überstrahlungen bzw. dunkle Bildpartien vermeiden. Das funktioniert beim kostenlosen Traumflieger-DRI-Tool mit wenigen Mausclicks.

Mit DRI (Dynamic Range Increase) wird eine Bildbearbeitungs-Technik bezeichnet, bei der mehrere Bilder einer Belichtungsreihe zu einem Bild fusioniert werden. Ergebnis sind Bilder ohne Überstrahlungen oder unterbelichtete Dunkelfelder - sprich in allen Teilen sind gut erkennbare Bildinformationen vorhanden.

Many times you see a beautiful scene and of course you take a picture! The result is often far from being the magical scene you remember.

Our eyes are very adaptive and they are also more sensitive to intensity than color. It is estimated that our eye can see over a dynamic range of nearly 24 f-stops while a digital camera can capture a dynamic range around 6 to 9 f-stops.

For this scene we could set our digital camera to capture the sky or the land, but not both of them at same time.

The High Dynamic Range Imaging is a set of techniques that has been developed nearly 20 years ago to overcome the limitations of electronic devices.

Digitales Fotografieren macht Spass. Digitales Fotografieren würde aber noch mehr Spass machen, wären da nicht immer wieder diese Probleme mit der Belichtung. Ärgerlicherweise treten diese besonders dann auf, wenn das Licht am schönsten ist - beispielsweise an Tagen mit glasklarer Luft, blankgeputztem Himmel und strahlendem Sonnenschein. Dem dann besonders intensiven Licht- und Schattenspiel sind Digitalkameras einfach nicht gewachsen. Überbelichtung in den hellen Bildbereichen und/oder starkes Rauschen in den dunklen Bildbereichen sind die Folge. "Richtiges" Belichten ist oft nicht möglich.
